    Hi All,

I am trying to install Airwave Glass in a Lab but have very limited compute resources.

The OVA "AirWaveGlass-1.0.3.ova" will not install on VMware Workstation 12 Player as it fails OVF specification checks. (Too many vCPU's Memory for my Hardware)

I can load the OVA into VirtualBox successfully by modifying the vCPU's to 4 and Memory to 20GB. Glass boots and runs the config script. I can then Ping Glass but when I try to access the GUI I get a HTTP 404 Error.

The Hardware is Intel i7 with 32GB Memory

Has anyone got Glass running in a Lab environment?

    **** Update *****

Glass does appear to be running but now I have an odd issue with a HTTP Redirect.

Open Firefox and go to https://192.168.0.xxx

    Accept Cert Error

Redirect to https://wifilab-glass (the server name I set)

This doesn't work because DNS does not resolve the name

Add wifilab-glass to me hosts file

Now Firefox tells me that the redirect is done in a way that will not work

    Hello!

I got it running on my lab server with less resources.

I followed a guide to modify the file and thereby the requirements set.

I had to also setup a local DNS server since Glass only resolves DNS names, IP does not work.

However, even after successfull communication with Airwave server and all that. No data was present in glass.

Although, Arubas Beta/early releases has been horrible lately. So I do not expect it to work.

    Thanks for your reply.

The answer was installing and configuring DNS.

Can you tell me how you modified the file (.ova) for it to work with limited resources?

I've installed Glass on Oracle VirtualBox, when importing the .ova the resources in the ova are displayed and can be altered before starting the Import

    Great. Thanks.

This link also helped me bring to an VMWARE ESXI host.
