LLDP question

    Pardon my ignorance on LLDP--
    With LLDP, would it be possible for an AP (we have a mix of 225s 325s) to identify itself to its connecting switch (in my case, an Extreme switch)? So instead of wondering what's plugged into a switch port, I could get an up to the moment, legitimate answer?

    You would get the ap-name and if you run a detail command on the interface, you should be able to the model number.
