    Good Afternoon,

I will keep this short. I have no experience in Airwave and limited experinece with servers as a whole but have been tasked in setting up a commercial wireless network.

    What I've done so far:

    - Built and configured ESXi and got AirWave installed and am able to login to the Aruba GUI.

    - Have the IAP working and managed though the virtual controller.

My question is, what do I need to do to get the IAPs to be seen by Airwave? Im assuming that there is some VLAN stuff that needs to happen or some communication protcol stuff that I need to change.

    Do I need a controller?

I know enough to know I dont know anything lol.

    Thanks guys!

Please take a look at the Airwave Instant deployment guide here:  https://support.arubanetworks.com/Documentation/tabid/77/DMXModule/512/Default.aspx?EntryId=35413

Come back here and ask questions before you do anything.

No, you don't need a separate controller.
