Primary Airwave with Backup Airwave as failover

  • 1.  Primary Airwave with Backup Airwave as failover

    Hi all, I have a pair of airwave as primary and backup server.

    The backup server is a failover server and added airwave primary server as watched AMP.

    Last month the backup server has initiated to restore the primary server backup file due to the primary was down more than half an hour.

    Since the primary server is up now, how to i revert/restore the backup server as a watcher again as the backup server now is restored to the primary backup file.

    Do we have to manually SSH/console into the server and run the watcher backup?

    "amp_restore /var/airwave-backup/watcher/nightly_data.tar.gz" ??

     

    Pic below is the snapshot of backup airwave server main interface. the watcher list is not longer available.

    Ya, I just contacted TAC and he informed that i should perform the exact CLI below in order to bring back failover AMP online.

    amp_restore /var/airwave-backup/watcher/nightly_data.tar.gz
