Switch Upgrade using AirWave

Good Morning,

I am trying to use AMP 8.2.8.2 to upgrade the firmware of my Aruba switches 2530 and 2930, so I downloaded the required firmware from ASP and uploaded it to AirWave

the upgrade status In progress

but in the Firmware server log in am getting the following: 

Sun May 10 18:04:24 2020:     SW-CORUSAUN4OFSW01 Device is upgrading...
Sun May 10 18:04:24 2020: Pass complete for Firmware upgrade job (Sun May 10 18:03:11 2020)
Sun May 10 18:05:22 2020: Starting a pass for Firmware upgrade job (Sun May 10 18:03:11 2020)
Sun May 10 18:05:22 2020: Pass complete for Firmware upgrade job (Sun May 10 18:03:11 2020)
Sun May 10 18:06:22 2020: Starting a pass for Firmware upgrade job (Sun May 10 18:03:11 2020)
Sun May 10 18:06:23 2020: Pass complete for Firmware upgrade job (Sun May 10 18:03:11 2020)

 And after a while the process fail.

Can you please advise and let me know if i am missing a step?

  1. if access-list configured on the switch, we had to add ACL to allow UDP port 69 for tftp in Switch config.
  2. Added ip source interface for tftp for management VLAN using the below command.

# ip source-interface tftp vlan <vlanid>

To narrow down this issue,We can check for more details in /var/log/firmware_enforcer log which is available under system > status page in Airwave and also run $show logging –r (Displays all recorded log messages, with the most recent entries listed first) or $show logging –a (Displays all recorded log messages, including those before the last reboot.) on switch to see if firmware failed at device end.

I checked the switch logging, and i am getting: sftp: Request failed.

I tried to use TFTP and had the same results.

 

and in AirWave ststus, i am getting:

Downloading firmware failed
