Hi, We have many building and floors but it's the first time that visualrf show 3 AP on a floor but if you open the map, none are present.

 

Restarting the visualrf service did not work

Within the individual floor in VisualRF, on the right hand side is the option to add a 'Deployed AP' to the floor. Once this is completed (so you've assigned an AP to a floor within a building) this summary will populate.

The issue is that the summary says there is 3 but there is actually none on the floor map

From your second screenshot and the limited information it is difficult to identify what you have configured. I might be asking the obvious, but is the view option to show APs selected?

Yes, since when I had one I can see it. But the summary never change. 

Follow the troubleshoot steps which I provided in my previous post .

 

 

Count shows three but it is showing zero for planned devices.Check below detials

 

Check if AP option is selected under view tab.

 

Can you try poll redis database

Check site.xml page of the floor, to see if we can find APs details. To open site.xml URL, navigate to floor and Press Ctrl +Alt+M+X+L

 

 

Polling the database, doing a refresh or restarting the service did nothing.

 

Just have to find a way to send Ctrl +Alt+M+X+L to a remote desktop session.

 

Or is there another way to open site.xml

No, we have to point mouse on floor and press CTL+ALT+X+M+L to open site.xml page of floor to see the list of  AP MAC provisioned on floor. As you confirmed after enabling AP view option you are able to see one AP on floor but still show three AP count in display.

 

Got it, the site.xml does not show any devices.

 

I can see the site.xml from other floors showing the AP.

 

So it's really that summary that does not update it's information.

You can try restart all AMP services from system >status page, if issue still persist then we can try clear visualrf redis cache and check for that you need TAC help!

Check once if we have any command to clear visualrf redis cache in AMPCLI >Advanced> Enter Command, type help to see list of available commands.
