    Hello,

me and my team has been assigned on a project, which involve the modification of the ip adresses/vlan of the IAPs.

basically all ip adresses of the VC + IAPs (cluster) have to change.

because actually the management IPs are in same range has a User vlan due to poor design ...

    IPs are provisioned via DHCP.

we are now in a process of creating a new vlan and assigning all IAPs to it.

But while we are pretty much autonomous on this process, there is a few things we don't know...

Basically VCs are managed on Airwave. And we are looking for a process/best practice to operate this migration while taking care of Airwave in the mean time.

What could be the good scenario ?

shall we shutdown airwave while we are doing the changes ? do we have to add objects/ delete objects on airwave.
should we change the ip address VC (ON AIRWAVE) before or after assigning the VC/IAP to a new vlan ?

a few questions we can't answer because we don't know how airwave will behave.

    thanks.

If all of your access points shut down, restart, and obtain a different ip address, they will still find airwave on the same ip address.  You can then change the virtual ip address after the migration.

    Thank you for your answer.

Alright we will do the migration in a few weeks, we will switch the IAPs to the new vlan then reboot them.

when all IAPs are in the new vlan and UP we will change the VC IP on airwave.
