802.1x authentication - PC vs printer

I have configured 802.1x mac-based on few aruba switches with using Radius. PC's without any issue correctly authenticate and gain correct vid. In contrast, no printer authenticates. Both kind of devices have similar configuration regarding 802.1x. Is any difference between this two kind of devices in meaning network access?

A lot of printers only send a dhcp-probe request when the printer is turned on and not when the cable i use reconnecten. This could give some profiling issues when you use profiling.
Some other issue with printers and some other devices could require mac-pinning, see also link.
