    Hi

     

    One of my customers plan to have ClearPass to authenticate users on their WIFI network. Some devices are shared among multiple users and they would like to get the users authenticated using SAML in one way or the other.

     

    ClearPass 6.1 support SAML authentication, but is it only for authentication to administrative pages in ClearPass or can user on a Captive Portal also be authenticated using SAML?

    Update:

     

    In ClearPass Guest Configuration/Web Logins it's possible to create a web login page to use SAML for authentication.

    Under Login Form set Pre-auth Check to Single Sign-On - enable SSO for this web login.

     

    SSO must also be configured as a authentication source in CPPM.
