Automated password changes for a user?

    One of our locations wants a guest password that they can give out that rotates weekly, and then e-mails the person in charge of giving out the password for that guest account. 

     

    Is this doable on the controller somewhere?

     

    Aruba 7010 mobility controller with ArubaOS 8.3.0.4

    Unfortunately with only the controller, you would need a commandline tool to login to the controller manually to change the password:

     

    (aruba7640) #local-userdb add username guest generate-password

    GuestConnect
    Username: guest
    Password: kmHB5478
    Start date: Thu Mar 28 05:14:00 2019

    Expiration: none

    Hi cjoseph.

     

    You mentioned 'with only the controller'. I also have airwave, is there an automated solution with airwave?

     

    If not, I could use a third-party tool to automate this.
