    Hi all,

I'm setting up wired clearpass access for printers.

MAC auh with profiling does work, but our customer has a question if it is possible to allow only printers who are known on the print server.

    Someone any ideas about this?

    Kind regards

If they can export a list of authorized printers you can import that list into CPPM Guest Device Database, and then you can give the print team access as an Operator to manage the database. As they deploy printers, they can add them to the list.

You can even simplify it for them and just have them require Name (hostname) and MAC Address.

I don't think there are any native printer server integrations with CPPM.
