    Hey all,

Can I install the CP-VA-5K with the requirement specs of CPU/RAM/HDD based off the CP-VA-500 if I only expect the client to have 100 devices a day?

Or instead if it matters will my CP-VA-5K licence still work if I install using the CP-VA-500 ova so that I don't use as much resources for the VM?

    Regards,

    Brendon

No to which question, or both?

    No to both.

If you install below spec then you are running an unsupported configuration and TAC will not support it.

I would suggest that you work with your local TM/SE and Clearpass Specialist.

Can you Send me your contact information in a private message and I will notifiy your local team to work with you.

For anyone who is interested - I am working with a ClearPass specalist in my area. It looks like I will downgrade my license from 5K to 500 so that I can install the CP-VA-500.

CP-VA-500 is still more than enough for my client and this helps the VM fit with the clients resource capacity.

    Cheers all
