    Hi

     

    I want to create a service to assign VLAN for non-802.1x devices (through MAC auth service) per to the category of devices (like Phones to voice-vlan, printers to printers VLAN, Computers to Data VLAN,...).

     

    I created a service for MAC auth, and enabled the authentication and authorization based on the endpoint-repository, but in the access-tracker I cant get the details of the device category from the endpoint, SO how I can categorize them when there is no input from client about the device category?

    Have you read the ClearPass profiling technote so that ClearPass is able to get that type of information?
