ClearPass Guest Licensing with Guest Device Repository

    I am implmenting a new ClearPass service which allows students at this particular university to register their personal devices into the Guest Device Respository for MAC authentication purposes. Will this consume Guest/Enterprise licenses? If so, will it consume them only when the session with the device is active, or will it consume a license simply by being registered, thus consuming a license is consumed until the device account expires?

    No guest license is consumed. Only base licenses when the device
    authenticates.
