ClearPass HTTPS Certificate

The HTTPS certificate on ClearPass here is expiring in a few weeks. The existing cert is a wildcard cert (RADIUS cert not wildcard). What is the best practice for this? Is a wildcard cert ok on HTTPS?

Re: ClearPass HTTPS Certificate

Yes, wildcard certs are fine for HTTPS.

Re: ClearPass HTTPS Certificate

Wildcards are very common for HTTPS in ClearPass, in my own experiences. A lot of institutions have a public wildcard for other products, typically easy to get a copy.
