    Does the execution of the quick connect application need special / administrative rights for the user trying to execute?

    Yes, admin rights are required as it is making system level changes. QuickConnect is targeted at BYOD devices which users usually have admin access to.

     

    If these are corporate owned and using AD, configuration can be done with Group Policy which does not require user interaction.
