    Is it possible to use ClearPass as an accounting server only for specific devices - SBC (Session Border Controller) for call detail records accounting?

    Yes, in theory CPPM can just receive RADIUS accounting messages {no authN right?}, but I'm intrigued to understand what you want to do with CPPM and how you see it fitting into your overall framework / solution?

    It is more of a proof of concept - our Telecom dept needs to have the Call detail records and the phone system doesn't support any logging except for sending the information through RADIUS accounting. The idea is then to send this call details information to Splunk for storing etc.

    Thx - Do you have a feel for the RADIUS:Accounting starts/sec and do you intend to send Interim accounting updates for the sessions as well?
