Clearpass Sizing

    Hi,

     

    could someone explain why the sizing for CP-VA-500 and CP-VA-5K are the same please? Both state 8 Virutal CPU, 8Gb of RAM and 1Tb of storage.

     

    I'm deploying 3x CP-VA-500 at a customer and they feel the sizing is too large. They are happy to use the sizing for CP-SW_EVAL in stead which looks alright if you compare CP-VA-5K and CP-VA-25K.

    These are the QA tested specifications for those two sizes. If it is not feasible to meet those specs, hardware appliances should be purchased instead.

     

    Using the eval specs for a production 500, 5K or 25K deployment is not supported.
