Hi, is there any procedure or example how to migrate data from FreeRadius (cmdb) server where are 1000 mac's to clerapass server database? In the freeradius database are also roles included which are important to get it also in the clerapass server.

    Thanks,

    Dusan

Are you able to dump the data to CSV?

Also, is the freeradius database externally accessible? If so, you can just add it as an authentication source.

The idea is to have a FreeRadius server which takes infomation from cmdb (sql) database. CleraPass should every night receive mac addresses with roles from FreeRadius-cmd database. So if I add it as an authentication source, should I configure there (or on FreeRadius)  also something specific in order to understand MAC and Roles (syntaxes)?

    Dusan,

If your database can be queried via SQL, can you have the database in a ClearPass service as an authorization source and query the information live, instead of downloading the information nightly?
