Guest Access License

    If i want guest access function  for 100 Guest user , i have 3 options :

     

    1- Just Buy "LIC-CP-GM-100" ... is this true ?   no other license needed for ClearPass Policy Manager  itself ?

     

    2-  Buy "CP-HW-500" , in this case do i need to buy the above license as well ?

     

    3- Buy "CP-VA-500" , in this case do i need to buy the above license as well ? 

     

    Finally

    1- what does enterprise license include ?

     LIC-CP-EN-xxx* : Enterprise License for ClearPass Policy Manager 

    2- What is difference between  CP-HW-500  & CP-VA-500  ?  bot are hardware provided from Aruba ?

    Enterprise allows you to use the combination of different clearpass modules : policy manager, guest , onboard , onguard.

    CP-HW-500 is a hardware appliance that you buy from Aruba

     

    CP-VA-500 is a VMWare virtual appliance that you deploy in your virtualization infrastructure. It is provided as an OVA.

    You need to buy the base ClearPass appliance (whether virtual or physical) and then add on the guest license (it’s a module for the base product).

    so i cann't get only "LIC-CP-GM-100"  & install it on my sever ?   HW or VA purchase is a must with the license ?

    No you can't. That license simply enables the guest functionality on your
    CPPM server.
