    Hi All,

    I am going to configuring Guest Access from Controller. When i did and try to connect to the Guest SSID then the controller redirect to me the controller not to captive portal page. Default Role in L3 Authentication i make "guest", in AAA initial role i make "logon". Can any body tell me what i will do to fix this issue.

    Have you assigned the Captive Portal Profile to your Initial role in the AAA profile?

    If you post the output of the below where XXXX is your initial (probably the logon role)

    #show rights XXXX

    (sent from a mobile device)

    Following are the roles which i configured in AAA and L3 Authentication profile.

    Initial Role in AAA profile = guest-logon

    Default Role in L3 Authentication (Captive Portal) = guest

    If you run the below, do you see the Captive Portal profile assigned?

    show rights guest-logon

    Here's an example of my inital role showing the Captive Portal profile being assinged (see the last line). It is using the default Captive Portal profie.

    (Lab620) #show rights guest-logon

    Valid = 'Yes'
    CleanedUp = 'No'
    Derived Role = 'guest-logon'
     Up BW:No Limit Down BW:No Limit
     L2TP Pool = default-l2tp-pool
     PPTP Pool = default-pptp-pool
     Number of users referencing it = 0
     Periodic reauthentication: Disabled
     DPI Classification: Enabled
     Youtube education: Disabled
     Web Content Classification: Enabled
     ACL Number = 9/0
     Max Sessions = 65535

     Check CP Profile for Accounting = TRUE
     Captive Portal profile = default

    I have the same problem. What is the solution? I create WLAN and create guest and open access rule as logon. How should I do?
