    Hi all,

I am about to deploy six clusters of IAPs (six remote sites) with a guest SSID that uses a central ClearPass server for both the guest portal and sponsored authentication.

My query is regarding certificates on each of the IAP clusters.

Is only one HTTPS certificate required for each Virtual Controller? Or do I need to install a certificate on each indivdual AP?

There are going to be 200+ APs so I was hoping to get a publicly signed Wildcard certificate.

I also realise that I require a HTTPs certificate for the ClearPass guest portal.

    Regards,

    Brett

You can use the same captive portal certificate on all of you clusters. It only needs to be installed on the VC.
