Is clearpass guest config part of policy manager backup

    Might be a silly question. our clearpass guest setup on a dev server has a redirect statement in it so if url called is https ://mydevices.york.ac.uk/ then go direct to claarpass guest so people can register a mac address.

    The script is a nested in else thingy

    Made a change to it and obviously screwed things up because now can't get to the clearpass policy managre login page.

     

    Luckily its a dev server and no-one affected apart from me.

     

    Restored server from a backup in october but still can;t log in. only thought is the guest stuff isn;t part of the policy manager backup.

    o.k. managed to log on... and the chages I'd made befreo doing a policy manager restore were still there. All fixed now but

     

    If you;re stuck on a server and all you have is access to the CLI, how do you restore clearpass guest ? 

     

    A
