    As the title suggests, can someone explain what is the difference beween these two?

    [Allow All MAC AUTH] method allows unknown endpoints to connect. This method is typically the correct method to use if you want to identify/profile devices before placing them into the correct VLAN.

    Use MAC-based authentication to authenticate devices based on their physical media access control (MAC) address
