    Hi,

    We intend to steal the cluster (L2) of the clearpass to create a  new cluster (L3), a device in each CPD. The subscriber's Ips will obviously be modified. Should we take something in mind regarding equipment licenses?

    if i understand correct the subscriber will remain part of the same cluster? there for your changes will have no impack on your licenceing as they are shared accross the cluster.

    Thks for yu reply. You got it. The idea is to move the subscriber to a new site so the cluster become from level 2 to level 3.

    Do you know if platform license has associate a device IP or serial number?.  If Device IP is associate to he license then moving the subscriber to level 3 would imply renew the platform license.

    All licences are agnostic of the IP address for CPPM, the licences are platform & cluster based. there for you can change the IP address without any impact to the licenceing.
