    Hello All , We wanted to migrate clearpass 6.4 installed in a ESxi server to a Hyper-V environment . What is best way of doint this and how we will manage license transfer

    I wouldn'trecommend performing a V2V migration. I would backup the database on your current CPPM vmware instanceand shut it down. Spin up a Hyper-V CPPM instance with the same network interface values then restore the database.

     

    I'm not 100% sure about the licenses. They may well be migrated as well. I'm sure someone else will chip in and confirm.
