OnBoard Sponsorship options? any non-real-time options?

    I have a client that wants to make use of OnBoard Sponsorship to allow clients onto the network.  i enabled it i POC and noticed that while it is working it requires that the sponsor is available real-time to approve the request.  IS there any other options that would distribute but disable a cert and then enable once a sponsor approves?
