    Hi,

    I use a captive portal with sponsor. Is there a way to limit the number of guest allowed by the sponsor?.

    Sure, you can set that in the Operator Profile:

    Either change an existing Operator Profile if it applies for everyone, or duplicate/create a new profile where each profile can have a different Account Limit.

    that lookd like the logical approach indeed.

     

    I tried this but it doesn't seem to work for me (ClearPass Guest 6.7.7). the Guest operator with defined profile can't indeed create more accounts then the limit when manually trying to add an account.

     

    but following the link from the sponsor ship email i can keep Confirming new users requests.

     

    is there some extra configuration required somewhere?
