    Hi all,

     

    We're starting to test wired authentication using Clearpass. The plan is to to 802.1x --> MACAuth --> CP fall through. We currently have two switch vendors and several models in production and will likely add more. I'm wondering what the best practice is for creating services in Clearpass for this environment. The wired policy solution guide ihas been helpful.

     

    Would separate services get created for 802.1x, MACAuth and CP? Then duplicate that per vendor type? Or can this all be folded up into a single service called wired-auth?

    You’ll need 3 services at a minimum per vendor.
