controller with Clearpass : Auth server timeout.

  • 1.  controller with Clearpass : Auth server timeout.

    My system is working normally untill today

    clearpass as self-regis and captive portal. when login its error messsage "Auth server timeout"

    but when look at Access Tracker not see any request from controller.

     

    and on clearpass show "The Server Certificate has expired." but it working untill today.

     

    OS 6.4.4.10

    Has there been any changes to your environment? Which certificate has expired, is this a RADIUS or HTTPS cert on CPPM? Have you checked the RADIUS service is running on CPPM?

    If you check services most likely your radius services is stopped. You will need to renew or put on a new self signed cert and restart the radius service. 

    I would also recommend upgrading. You are running on a very old version with multiple vulnerabilities.

    The RADIUS service restarting will be causing issues. Is this a VM or hardware appliance? Have you made any changes in your environment? If this is a VM, do you have the necessary resources assigned to the VM?

    clearpass on VM.

    I did not change any environment.

    and this status clearpass.
