Course Overview The self-paced online Aruba S3500 Mobility Access Switch E-learning course is designed to provide students the knowledge required to configure and deploy Aruba’s Mobility Access Switch. The course includes multiple video based sessions focused on specific aspects of the Mobility Access Switch such as redundancy, POE, VOIP deployments, and Security Features. Using a self-paced format complemented by configuration demonstrations, each module of the course provides an overview as well as step by step guidelines for enabling different capabilities with illustration via both WebUI and CLI. The course is divided into the following modules: Basic configuration, Setup, & Platform Monitoring Network Redundancy, including features like Spanning Tree and Aruba’s Hot Standby Link (HSL) Integration with Mobility Controller; specifically Tunneled-Node feature for Mobility Switching Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+) Support & Configuration Voice over IP (VoIP) and QoS Support & Configuration; including Voice VLAN Security features including Authentication (802.1x) & Role-based Access Who should attend? Aruba Partners and Customers needing the basic knowledge and skills to deploy the S3500 Mobility Access Switch Prerequisites Students are expected to begin class with knowledge of Aruba’s products. A conceptual knowledge of VLANs and network data flow & control helps frame the specifics of Aruba’s network architecture.
