2530 - REST API equivalent to CLI

    Hey,

    for monitoring reasons I need to know if a switch is runnig an unsaved config.

     

    Hardware is for instance a HPE Aruba 2530-24G-PoE+ (J9773A)
    with Firmware YA.16.08.0001 (REST API V6.0)


    On the CLI I can use the command:

     

    2530-24G-PoE(config)# show config status

     

    And get the response:

     

    The running configuration matches the saved configuration.

     

    or

     

    The running configuration has been modified and not yet saved.

     


    Is there a REST API equivalent to the CLI command?

    I think, no... but you can try using AnyCLI ?

    Hey,

    I hope this will be added as a direct REST API call in the future.

     

    As REST API seems to be the thing these days and I want to keep it clean and simple I don't want wo switch between techniques.
