    Hello folks,

I have a 2930M connected to Aruba central and manager in a UI group.

I need to add a new admin account to that switch from central.

Is there a way to do that? I can't see any option in central, the only thing I can see is to add an operator account. any idea?

    Hello Victor,

This account will provide only operator privileges and not admin privileges, I'm I right?

what i'm looking for is creating a second admin account,

    regards,

    thanks.

    Hi,

I don't have any switch added to Central at this moment to test.
Are you still able to access the "config terminal" through cli?
If yes, you can try using the commands bellow to create a new account with configuration permissions.

    Create a new group:

    #aaa authorization group admin-group 10 match-command configure.* permit
    #aaa authorization group admin-group 20 match-command .* permit

    Create a new user:

aaa authentication local-user admin-user group admin-group password plaintext

LPcarvalho, this CLI method is valid with a non-Central switch or a switch managed over Group template,

we can't do that over the Central UI template.
