    Hi together,

i am trying to create a VSF stack of two 2930f JL256A. Everything looks fine, but i don´t understand, why the show vsf link command is giving me this output:

    core1(config)# sh vsf link

     VSF Member 1

                      Link Peer Peer
     Link Link-Name State Member Link
     ---- ---------- -------- ------ ----
     1 I-Link1_1 Down 0 0
     2 I-Link1_2 Down 0 0

I created just one link with two 10G ports:

    vsf member 1 link 1 51,52

Any idea why this is the case?

    Thank you!

    Daniel

    Greetings!

Because the 2930F supports VSF domains of up to 8 members, each switch must support two VSF links as each link can be used for connections to only one other VSF member. If your VSF domain contains only two members, the second VSF link may go unused and can be safely ignored.
