    Hi all,

    I need your help Troubleshooting an issue in our Clearpass-Environment which we have with with multiple clients:

     

    Environment:

    ClearPass Policy Manager 6.9.2.130454 on C2000V platform (Cluster) is connected to a switch (Aruba JL256A 2930F-48G-PoE+-4SFP+ Switch, WC.16.10.0009). Everything works fine with almost all clients, but 2 of them (Windows 10, 1809) are reauthenticating exactly every 60 seconds in Clearpass.

     

    Portconfig:

    interface 27
    untagged vlan 1
    aaa port-access authenticator
    aaa port-access authenticator quiet-period 2
    aaa port-access authenticator tx-period 5
    aaa port-access authenticator auth-vid 1
    aaa port-access authenticator client-limit 32
    aaa port-access mac-based
    aaa port-access mac-based addr-limit 32
    aaa port-access mac-based auth-vid 1
    aaa port-access auth-order authenticator mac-based
    aaa port-access auth-priority authenticator mac-based
    loop-protect
    exit

     

    Screenshots from clearpass attached.

     

    Troubleshooting-Steps already taken:

    - Updated Clearpass and Switch FW

    - Swapped and replaced cables and ports from switchport to enduser device

    - Reenabled 802.1X Windows Service on enduser device

    - Updates Firmware and driver

     

    Can you help me troubleshoot the issue? I don't know what todo next ...

    The other windows Devices that are not experiencing this issue , use the same type of NIC card and driver ?

    Hi Victor,

     

    thanks for the fast reply.

    Apparently the other users affected use the same hardware (Laptop from HP Inc and Docking from HP Inc) ...

    I already updated the firmware on the Dockings and installed the appropriate ethernet driver on the laptops.
