Aruba 2930F Switch - USR LED Flashing Amber

Q:

Why is the USR LED flashing amber and what does this indicate?



A:

Cause:
A flashing amber USR LED indicates that the switch was previously connected to Aruba Central and is now disconnected from Aruba Central.

 

Solutions:
Once the switch is reconnected to Aruba Central, the LEDs should return to normal behavior.

If the switch is no longer intended to be managed by Aruba Central, you can disable Aruba Central management by using the following command from the global configuration context:
  aruba-central disable  

Example:
  switch(config)# aruba-central disable

This should also return the switch LEDs to normal behavior.
