Aruba S2500-24P stack problem

Hello,

I just bought a switch S2500-24P.
I plugged it yesterday (at the reception), the stack led remains on after booting the OS.

My S2500-48P, the light stays off.
When I plug in an RJ45, no indicator lights up.

Does anyone have an idea, a solution?

When you say stacking, did you use a dedicated stacking cable (DAC) and connected it to stacking interfaces on the two switches? Or did you just connect two random ports with a normal network cable? Can you connect to the switches with a console cable and check the logs and running config?

i'm not use stacking

the s2500-48 is for my lab and the s2500-24 is for my office

they are connect with two fibres lc-lc + gbic.

When i received, i plugged the ac cable, the switch start and load.

just one RJ45 port is plugged on other switch the time to configure it.

and when load finish the stack led light up but not the rj45 light

Can you logon to the switches using a console cable?

Try to do a factory reset of the new switch. Use the command 'restore factory_default stacking'

Afterwards logon to the switch and check the logs for errors and warnings.
