Hi, ArubaOS-CX 10.01.0030 introduced - enabled by default - the split-recovery feature for VSX (it's a parameter on vsx context).

Is there a way to understand if that feature is enabled or not (apart from presuming it is enabled - because that is default after any update to ArubaOS-CX 10.01.0030 - because node running configuration is not showing it with a prepend "no" assertion)?

Hi Vincent, thanks...I already followed the discussion about that on the other thread...my question is more related to understand if doing a show vsx status the split-recovery option is clearly reported as enabled (withouth be forced to look for it into the running-config) or not...or if does it exist a dedicated show split-recovery command.

the command you suggested above doesn't really exist on ArubaOS-CX 10.01.0030 (does came from a development version of ArubaOS-CX?):

Hey Parnassus,

I don't see it either, if you type "list" you'll see a list of all available commands on the level you are currently on. If you do that on the base level, there is no "show xxx split-recovery" command, so I do believe it's not available just yet.

Something that I'm missing as well is a "show active-gateway" of any sort, per interface or in general, there is not such command either.

I don't know if any software release of ArubaOS-CX 10.01 software branch post ArubaOS-CX 10.01.0030 finally introduced the command to verify the split-recovery status (enabled/disabled)...but, for sure, the command is available on latest ArubaOS-CX 10.02.0010:
