ArubaOS-CX ESXi Installation not working

    I have installed the OVA a few different ways, added more resources, tried different network adapter settings, but the switch does not want to start up. See attached image for the console output. Does anyone know if I'm doing something wrong on the OVA deployment into my ESXi 6.0.0 Build 5572656 environment?

    Hi Dustin, what ArubaOS-CX OVA image are you referring to exactly? ...kind of AOS-CX 10.04.0001 or AOS-CX 10.03.0020?

    I have tried AOS-CX 10.04.0001 and AOS-CX 10.02.0010. Both had the same results.

    FYI, I upgraded my ESXi host to 6.5 Update 1 and I still get the same results. See attached screenshots for the steps I take to deploy. vSwitch security policy also attached

    Do you have attach a serial port ?

     

    Work for me with a vCenter (and ESXi) and also virtualbox (on a windows laptop)

    I have not configured a serial interface. Is this needed?

    I tried adding the serial port before the first boot, but it still gave the same errors. Another thing to note too, is if I restart the VM after these errors, this is all that I get on all subsequent boots:

    What release of ESXI ? on what plaform ? (Intel ? amd ?)

    ESXi build number: 5969303

     

    Running on:

    ProLiant DL360 G7

    8 CPUs x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5506 @ 2.13GHz

    Sorry being late answering. Please try setting the correct date/time on your ESXi host. It should solve the issue.

    I'm having this same issue.  No matter how I change up the settings, the VM just keeps recycling.  I have tried setting the time on my esxi server as well, but this had no discerning affect.  Any other possible ideas?

    Scrap this VM and re-install a fresh one with 10.04.3000 OVA.

    Have you tried on an other server ?
