    Hi Guys,

I have 2 x 2930M switches which should be redundant; the 4 SFP ports of each switch are fully used for uplinks to edge switches

In case we used a stacking module, should I have to connect both switches with the copper prorts and do trunking again for the VLANS to pass between the 2 switches or is there any protocol that will enable this without reconnecting the switches?

    Greetings!

All VLANs configured on a switch stack are passed via the stacking ports to all members of the stack — no front panel connections or extra configuration are required.
