How to Disable Aruba Activate on the Aruba-OS Switches.
If you are receiving errors that the switch cannot connect to the Activate server and you do not use Aruba Activate, you can disable Activate on the switch.
Event log errors may look similar to the following:
Jan 29 08:17:57 switch 05222 activate: Error connecting to the Activate server: Activate TLS connection error. Jan 29 08:17:57 switch 05222 activate: Error connecting to the Activate server: SSL negotiation failed
To disable Aruba Activate and software updates via Activate, you can enter the following commands at the switch Config prompt:
activate provision disable
activate software-update disable
