How many Aruba Mobility Access Switches can be part of a stack ?

Environment  :  This article applies to Aruba S2500/S3500 Mobility Access Switches

 


Up to eight S2500/S3500 Mobility Access Switches of any type (24F, 24T, 24P, 48T, 48P, 48PF) may be stacked to create a single ArubaStack.

Aruba S2500 includes four integrated Gigabit Ethernet/10 Gigabit Ethernet ports  and S3500 supports an optional four-port Gigabit Ethernet/10 Gigabit Ethernet uplink module to enable stacking.
 
By default two of the four uplink ports are configured as stacking ports with a  stacking backplane performance is 40Gbps
