HPE routers come in different sizes and support various types of interfaces.  Unless you've purchased an MSR or HSR router, you really don't have a clue as to how easy or difficult it can be to configure one, using the HPE Comware operating system.

Questions come up all the time, concerning training on the Comware platform.  Questions like "I can't afford to send my CCIE's to training just to learn another O/S"  Well, the answer is you don't have to.  Your CCIE's are very smart people and they will know within 5 minutes of CLI time at the Comware command line, that it is very easy forma to learn and adapt to quickly.  Commands like "show ip route" in Cisco, woudl be  "display ip routing" , or just "dis ip rout"  in Comware.  Want to see a document that gives you a comparison of the command structure?  go to HP Press for your free copy of the "HP Networking and Ciscso CLI Reference Guide" A great tool to have by your side!
