    Posted Aug 20, 2019 12:36 PM

    Folks,

I am new to aruba swicthes. I have configured a couple of aruba switches in area 0 ospf and i am seeing routes being removed and then added back in the routing table. I want to collect some logs in the switches or run debug on these switches. Can someone please tell me how to accomplishing logging and debugging on aruba switches please.

Here is the output from show version of the switch.also please can any one check if i have configured ospf correctly on a vsx enabled switch.

    Greetings!

To start, you can check the event logs in AOS-CX using the command show events (you can add the -r flag to show them in reverse chronological order, with newest entries on top).

For additional logging, you can enable OSPFv2 debugging and view debug logs using the following commands:

    switch# debug destination buffer
    switch# debug ospfv2
    switch# show debug buffer

You can also specify the current console session as the debug destination by replacing buffer with console.

    To disable debug logging:

    switch# no debug ospfv2
    switch# no debug destination buffer
