Random PCs on the network are not MAC Authenticating on PXE boot , just want to rule out the switches 2930m . Mac-auth is set on the switch stacks and there is an unauth-vlan for unknown devices. Making use of  NPS server, machines are shutdown each night and on boot the next day fail to authenticate - no requests on the NPS and remain on the unauth-vlan, however once booted into Windows and the network cable is unplugged and then put back in you can see the request straight away  and the machine is then placed on the correct vlan. The next day a few random machines will do the same thing event though they successfully authed the previous day. 

Any help would be appreciated.

Is it always the same machines? If so have you tried updating the BIOS on one of them?

Try configuring the following commands on one of the ports you are experiencing the issue and see if it helps:
aaa port-access mac-based logoff-period 9999999
aaa port-access controlled-direction in
