Port mirroring on Aruba 2540

    Dear Community,

     

    i got a short question, can you help me to configure port mirroring on my Aruba 2540. I simply want to get all the traffic copied form for example port 5 to port 24.

    Hi,

     

    can you try with below configuration

     

    switch(config)# mirror 1 port 24

    switch(config)# interface 5 monitor all out mirror 1

    thanks for your quick answer, it's not possible to execute the first command on my device.
    Do you have any other ideas?

    Greetings!

     

    Because the 2540 only supports a single mirroring session, the syntax is a bit different:

     

    switch(config)# mirror-port 24

    The interface X monitor command should work as expected.
