    Greetings!

We could use a bit of clarification — what are you referring to when you say "SW ID"?

If you mean the VSF member ID, you would use 'vsf renumber-to' from the configuration context. For the switch hostname, use the 'hostname' command from the configuration context.

If neither of these is correct, please let us know what you're trying to change.

    I have two switches,

When I put the command: show lacp aggregates

    I get:

    Aggregate name: lag100 (multi-chassis)

    Interfaces: 1/1/52

    Peer interfaces: 1/1/52

    Heartbeat rate: Slow

    Hash: l3-src-dst

    Aggregate mode: Active

    so...

    I have a 1 lag with multi-chassis

I want to change the secound switch number.

    I want to get:

    Aggregate name: lag100 (multi-chassis)

    Interfaces: 1/1/52

    Peer interfaces: 2/1/52

but dont do vsf or somthing. stay with the multi-chassis

What is your switch type? do you nee MC-LAG or normal LACP?

when using vsf you get slot numbers like 1/1/52 and 2/1/52, you don't need MC-LAG when using VSF, just us normal LAG

when using MC-LAG you are making lacp coming from switches ports 1/1/52 (SW1) and 1/1/52 (SW2). In this case the lacp stretches accros switches.

If you are configuring MCLAGs using VSX, it is expected that both switches have a switch ID of 1, because they are both operating in standalone mode (with VSX providing MCLAG functionality and state synchronization across the ISL). There is no need to change the switch ID number, nor is there any functionality to do so with the 8320 as it does not support VSF (stacking), which is the only feature in the AOS-CX product line that requires renumbering the switch ID number.
