    Hi, I have been trying something out on ArubaOS-CX so please bear in mind I only have 10.0.4 on GNS3 as my environment.

     

    I have set up a GRE tunnel between two switches and it all works OK but I struggled for a while with traffic only passing in one direction and it turned out that if my traffic to be tunnelled ingresses the switch from the client on a .1Q tagged interface (trunk) it will not be routed into the tunnel interface.  However if I just change the ingress interface for the end device to untagged (access) it all works fine, no changes to the tunnel or routing configuration, just the edge port.

     

    Is this a bug, if so has it been fixed in later releases or am I missing something?
