    Hi there,
Is possible form a VSF stack with different port speeds? I mean, three switches in one stack, SW1 to SW2 with 10G link, SW2 to SW3 with 1G link. In affirmative case, the performance of the whole stack is reduce to 1G?
    Thank you in advance.
    Best regards,
    Javier Copete.

    Greetings!

All VSF ports in a given stack must be the same speed; mixed port speeds (even across different VSF links) are not supported.  Note that different link types (e.g., 10G DAC and 10G Smart Rate, 1G Cat5e and 1G SFP) can be used a VSF stack, and even within a single VSF link, as long as they are all operating at the same speed.

If you attempt to configure a VSF link port with a configured speed that is different from the current VSF port speed, you will receive the following message:

Warning - Port 1/8 does not support the current VSF port speed of 10G and may not be activated. Use compatible transceiver or reconfigure port speed to utilize this port.
