    Hey all,

Since the 650 doesn't have a mgmt port in the back, is there a way to configure port 1/0 to be the mgmt interface? I tried looking up a basic configuration guide, but I couldn't find one.

    Thank you!

You can configure a managment VLAN interface, then make the switchport an access port in that VLAN. You can then add ACLs and other restrictions to the VLAN.

    Tim,

Is there no way to configure the mgmt Interface as listed? If not, what's its point?

The mgmt interface is always visible in the CLI, but it is not available on platforms without a dedicated mgmt port.

If you type the command below, it will tell you if it is supported on your controller platform.

    interface mgmt

Great, thank you. So instead I'll configure port 1/0 to be the management port then. Thanks for your help.
